Ranked #1 on Things to do in Ironbridge on Trip Advisor (Shropshire Raft Tours)
If you are looking for a fun filled adventure under your own steam then this is the activity for you. Our Mega SUPs fit between 5-8 people and are modelled on the single SUP that has grown in popularity around the UK. You can hire these just like you would a canoe or kayak on our 7½ mile route finishing by our Little Green Kiosk in the Wharfage car park (TF8 7NH). There will be approximately 2½ to 3½ hours of paddling (dependent on ability and river levels) with time for you to enjoy a break as you float on the board along the way. Meeting in Ironbridge at 10.15am, pre-booking in advance is essential.
These are great for corporate trips, friends and families or a good old stag or hen do.
We will provide buoyancy aids, paddles, helmets and a dry bag plus a shuttle up to the starting point. Please wear appropriate outdoor weather clothing (shorts, fitness gear or leggings) or bring your own wetsuit with sensible shoes for the river. We also recommend you bring a change of clothing for the end of the trip (public toilets are available in the car park where we are based to change).
Enquire into our Mega SUP hire in Ironbridge as we also serve people on guided trips on the largest rafts in the UK around Ironbridge and the Shropshire area. For the best Mega SUP hire in Ironbridge, find our Little Green Kiosk located in the Wharfage car park next door to The Museum of the Gorge and Ironbridge Information Centre (TF8 7NH).
